This morning, Huawei announced that the new Huawei Mate40E was officially launched, equipped with the Kirin 990E chip, and an appointment will be opened at 18:08 today.
Huawei Mate40E continues the appearance of the Mate40 series. The front camera adopts a hole design in the upper left corner. It uses a 6.5-inch 68° curved screen with a resolution of 2376 × 1080, a 90Hz screen refresh rate and a 240Hz sampling touch rate. It supports 16.7 million colors and DCI-P3 wide color gamut, with three colors of Mithril, Bright Black and Glaze White.
In terms of configuration, Huawei Mate40E is equipped with Kirin 990E 5G SoC chip, built-in 4200mAh battery, and supports dual 40W wired and wireless super fast charging. HiSilicon Kirin 990E 5G SoC, this chip was previously used in Huawei Mate30E Pro.

Kirin 990E chip adopts 7nm EUV process, has NPU large core + NPU micro-core computing architecture, with 14-core Mali-G76 GPU, supports 5G NSA/SA dual-mode full Netcom.
In terms of cameras, Huawei Mate40E has a front 13-megapixel super-sensing camera (wide-angle, f/2.4 aperture), and a rear 64-megapixel wide-angle camera (f/1.9 aperture) + 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera (f/2.2 aperture) + 800 Megapixel telephoto camera (f/2.4 aperture, support OIS optical image stabilization).
